Christophe Ndangali was the Ministry of Education’s chief of staff. He allegedly participated in the exclusion of Tutsis from the school system and called for the extermination of Tutsis.
Procedure
Ndangali was charged with genocide and war crimes while the investigation was ongoing. He was arrested on 30 September 2020. He benefits from an alternative measure to imprisonment and is under judicial surveillance through the use of an electronic bracelet.
The investigation is still ongoing in Charleroi.
