Innocent S., a dual German-Rwandan national, is accused of participating in the Rwandan genocide. He is alleged to have issued orders for the killing of 25 Tutsi individuals while serving as an assistant to the mayor of Kayove in northwestern Rwanda. Additionally, he is accused of personally committing a murder by stabbing a victim in the chest.
Procedure
On 1 July 2026, German authorities arrested Innocent S. and placed him in preventive detention.
