On 2 September 2025, the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) took place in Kielce, Poland. Ten Israeli arms companies, among them Elbit Systems Ltd, RAFAEL Advanced Defense Systems Ltd, Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and Smartshooter, exhibited at MSPO.
Several of these companies are reported to have advertised their technologies at the exhibition as ‘battle-tested’ or ‘combat proven’.
Procedure
On 3 September 2025, a legal complaint was submitted by Roman Kurkiewicz, a Polish journalist, with the assistance of the Polish-Palestinian Justice Initiative KAKTUS, against Israeli arms dealers present at MSPO.
On September 8, 2025, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Kielce confirmed that it has officially opened an investigation into Israeli weapons dealers for allegedly aiding and abetting, and praising the crime of genocide and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Two individuals have been questioned, and part of the Israeli delegations left the fair before its conclusion.
